at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in West Reading, PA.

This year the show will be bigger and better than ever with a major expo, live music, and an outerwear fashion show!  And that all happens before the actual cooking school and demonstration begins!  There'll be some fantastic gifts like microwave ovens, cooking supplies and much, much more!

Doors open and expo begins at 4:00 p.m.

Expo open from 4 to 7:00 p.m.

Live music with Wahl Street from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Pollack's Outerwear Fashion Show from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Taste of Home Cooking Video begins 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.

Taste of Home Cooking School Show begins at 7:00 p.m.

Works as a demonstrator for the Taste of Home Cooking School, Greendale, Wisconsin

Conducts approximately 40 cooking schools each year throughout Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Rhode Island.

Graduated from Baltimore International Culinary College, Baltimore, Maryland and from Marywood University in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Family & Consumer Sciences and a Minor in Nutrition.

Taught at Luzerne County Community College, Nanticoke, Pennsylvania; First Cook on The American Queen Steamboat, New Orleans, Louisiana; Worked at the Park Hotel, Virginia, Ireland as Culinary Fellowship Award Recipient

Lives in Northeastern, Pennsylvania area and enjoys history, traveling, cooking for family and friends and attending professional baseball games.





Home economist Kate Gabriele will present the popular Taste of Home Cooking School this fall. She is one of 13 demonstrators that host the cooking school promotions in communities from coast to coast. Based in Greendale, Wisconsin, the cooking schools are associated with Taste of Home, the world's most popular cooking magazine.

This season Kate will demonstrate ways to spice up your everyday meals with various seasonings. She will introduce several new grocery products, offer unique serving techniques as well as demonstrate 12 featured recipes.

Each cooking school is made possible by the combined efforts of a local media sponsor, local retailers and our generous national sponsors: Campbell's, Crisco, Jimmy Dean, Kikkoman, McCormick, Nestlé, Ocean Spray, Ready Crust, Ready Pac, Rhodes and Swanson.

Tickets are on sale now at WEEU Radio.  Tickets are $10.00 each and there is a limit of 6 tickets per customer.  No refunds.  Firstcome-firstserved only.  Tickets may be purchased in person at:

Tickets will be sold during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, (excluding any weekday holidays), between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm.

When picking your tickets up in person you may use cash, check or money order.  We do not accept credit cards.

Tickets may also be ordered through the mail be sending a check or money order to WEEU care of the following address:

To order tickets through the mail, you must send payment in full in check or money order, (do not send cash through the mail), for the exact number of tickets you are ordering along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope so that we can send you your tickets.  Mail orders for tickets will not be accepted after September 1st, 2004. 

WEEU will not accept credit cards for payment, nor will we accept ticket orders by telephone or e-mail.
