Homemade Baby Wipes

WEEU has had many requests for this thrifty alternative for Baby Wipes.  As always, please be certain that the child is not allergic to any of the ingredients before using these homemade wipes. 

1/2 roll of STRONG paper towels (cut roll of paper towels in half and use pliers to remove cardboard tube)

1/8 to 1/4 cup baby shampoo

1/8 to 1/4 cup baby oil

2 cups lukewarm water

1 plastic container, like a baby wipe container

In container, mix liquid ingredients and place prepared roll of towels in container.  Place lid on container and tip upside down, so paper towels absorb liquid.  To use, pull our from center. Recipe courtesy of homeparents.about.com.
